Photograph the current condition from all angles. This protects you and us — it's a clear record of pre-existing chips, cracks or trim damage before any work begins.
Decide on your finish in advance: factory colour-match, a colour change, or a two-tone finish all affect both price and how long the job takes.
Remove personal items and any aftermarket accessories that aren't part of the job, and flag any known problem areas — old accident repairs, rust bubbling, or filler — so they can be addressed properly rather than painted over.
